Southern April Wedding | Paola and John

The trees were blooming and so was the love! Paola and John are like family to us, both personally and within Pepper Sprout, so seeing them marry on this beautiful Spring day brought tears of joys to everyone’s eyes! This super fun couple and their guests had a blast celebrating the electric love they share!

John and Paola hold a special place in our hearts. Juli has known Paola for many years and I feel like I have too, but in reality it has only been a year. In April of 2016, John and Paola were our models for our first styled shoot. The first time I met Paola, we was at Alexandra’s Formal Wear in Forsyth for her to try on wedding dresses for the shoot. John and Paola are a stunning couple and when they are around it’s hard not to be laughing and smiling. We are also lucky enough to have them be a part of our Pepper Sprout Barn team, they truly have been our ‘right hand’ through many events.

When they made the decision to say “I do” at the barn, we couldn’t have been more excited. We knew with Paola’s style their wedding would be beautiful. The day was filled with laughter and tears of joy.

John and Paola did their first look in front of the barn, it was priceless. Seeing any groom react the way John did (hands covering his face full of tears) is one of the sweetest things ever! Their bridal party was made of up siblings and the best of friends anyone could ask for. I think everyone fully enjoyed the day.

Their ceremony took place under the our pecan tree with lanterns hanging down from the limbs and a laurel draped from one limb to another. Dee Martin officiated the ceremony and truly made it a true reflection of John and Paola.

Colors of blush, gold and ivory filled the reception. Paola incorporated our gold vases and milk glass into her centerpieces. She opted to do all the floral herself, she even had help from the groomsmen to fill all the vases with flowers. Yes, I said groomsmen…they did most of the tables.

We knew there would be a party to celebrate these two tying the knot and there most definitely was. Bartender Steve and DJ Steve kept the party going through the evening. I don’t think there was a song that John and Paola plus 90% of their guests didn’t dance to.
