Colorful & Bold Styled Shoot | Megan Hobbs Photography

Wedding inspiration can come from so many places: Pinterest, bridal magazines, Instagram, real life weddings…just to name a few. One of our favorite ways to share amazing styling tips are styled shoots. A styled shoot is simply a small scale fake wedding. We dress up a model to be our bride and groom, set up a ceremony location and some reception decor and we are in business! Styled shoots can be as intricate or as simple as the organizer wants them to be. They are also great a opportunity for tons of wedding vendors to show off their craft. Everyone loves a good styled shoot.

Last spring, Megan from Megan Hobbs Photography (one of our preferred vendors) reached out to us about a fun opportunity she was planning. A styled shoot master class!! How fun! She arranged a styled shoot and then invited aspiring wedding photographers to come and learn more about shooting a wedding. She took them through all the stages of the day: getting ready, couple shots, detail shots, ceremony and reception and through the eight hour course, they were able to get some real life practice in, thanks to the patient and beautiful models.

We loved that we were able to be a part of such a cool experience and we wanted to share some of the pictures with you! The models (Morgan + Drew) are married in real life so their chemistry was undeniable. The bold design of the shoot is great for some wedding inspiration of your own. Check below for the list of amazing vendors who participated.
